Ask the Vegan Vet: Q&A with Dr. Richard Pitcairn

Whole-foods, plant-based diets work wonders for human health, but what about our pets? V-dog VP Lindsay Rubin sat down with Dr. Richard Pitcairn and his wife Susan, coauthors of Dr. Pitcairn's Complete Guide to Natural Health for Dogs and Cats and experts in veterinary homeopathy. In the 4th edition of their book, the Pitcairns delve into the toxicity and environmental issues with meat-based pet food and offer recipes and advice on feeding your pet a fresh plant-based diet.
