Our limited edition Plant Powered Tote Bag, with artwork by vegan illustrator @jessicajaneillustrations, benefits the lifesaving work of New York Bully Crew. NYBC is celebrating their 10th birthday this year. In the last decade, they've saved over 10,000 dogs from suffering and neglect. With 200 dogs currently under their care, they're working hard to find fur-ever homes for each and every one, both locally and overseas.
Let's meet some of their adorable rescue pups!
King Henry
King Henry was rescued from Puerto Rico after he was severely injured by locals. It is unfortunately common to throw boiling oil at stray dogs, and Henry was a victim of this cruel practice. He was flown from Puerto Rico to New York where he continued his healing and was rehabilitated. King Henry is a sweet boy looking for a home of his own.
Jillian
Jillian was rescued from Texas. She had been living her whole life on a chain before she was rescued a few months ago. Jillian is a sweet and funny girl who loves to cuddle. She would love a home to call her own.
Lawrence
Lawrence was rescued from death row in Philadelphia. When he was found, he was only skin and bones. After weeks of hospitalization and rehabilitation, he made a full recovery. Lawrence is a sweet little fellow, full of life and looking for a new family.
Paris
Paris was surrendered to NYBC because her person couldn’t care for her anymore. Paris had been previously used for breeding. She is sweet but shy at first — once she knows you, she warms up quickly! She's looking for her forever home.
