Get ready to paw-ty! September 20-26 is National Dog Week, the perfect excuse to give your pup extra snuggles and treats, go on dog-friendly adventures, and give back to local shelters. We've compiled our list of activities for the week — join us or tag us on Instagram (@vdogfood) to let us know what you and your pup are doing to celebrate!
Sunday: Plan a doggie playdate
Gather your pup's fur-iends in the backyard or a local dog park for some (socially distant) fun in the sun!
Monday: Try a new vegan dog recipe
Spend some time in the kitchen with your pup! Here are some of our fave recipes:

Tuesday: Have a mini photoshoot with your dog
Fall is here, which means beautiful colors and great photo ops! Head to the park with your pup to take some adorable pics together. (Don't forget to tag us!)
Wednesday: Donate to a local shelter
Consider making a donation to a nearby shelter or dog rescue to help support homeless pups. Donating supplies or your time (through volunteering) are great options. Now is also a great time to visit a shelter if you're on the lookout for a new furry family member!
Thursday: Visit the dog park
Treat your pup to some quality playtime at the local dog park. Dog parks are a great way to meet other dogs and dog parents in a socially distant way. Don't forget the treats!
Friday: Treat your pup to a kibble topper
Make your pup's mealtime extra special today with some tasty toppers! These ones are guaranteed to make your pup do a happy dance:
Saturday: Take your dog hiking
Alltrails is a great place to find a hiking trail in your area (you can sort by "dog friendly" and other filters). Grab the leash, get outside, and enjoy some scenic views with your pup.
