VeganPitbull's V-dog Treats
INGREDIENTS

2 cups flaxseed (ground for better absorption): Tiny little powerhouses of protein and healthy fats. The hard outer hull of the seed contains lignan, an anti-inflammatory, and lots of healthy fiber.

2 cups of beans (pinto, black, kidney, soy, or garbanzo): Contain B-vitamins, potassium, magnesium, and iron, and can be great sources of protein, antioxidants, and fiber for your dog.

1 cup oats (plain): High in fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals (including vitamins E and B, zinc, iron, and selenium) and a great alternative for pups allergic to wheat.

1 cup quinoa: Gluten-free whole grain that contains high levels of protein, antioxidants as well as vitamins B1, B2, and B6.

1 tsp turmeric: Anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal, promoting heart, liver and digestive health.

1 cup frozen blueberries: Low in calories and high in vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants.

2 cups v-dog kibble: Provides that extra kick of complete & balanced nutrients. AAFCO formula packed with 24% protein and made with superfood ingredients like peas, lentils, and quinoa. Free of animal products, corn, soy, and wheat.

METHOD
Add all ingredients to a large pot over medium heat and stir. Boil for 20-30 min until everything is soft, cooked and most of the water has evaporated. Using a masher or blender, blend everything up until you have a soft dough-like consistency. Heat oven to 200° F and bake for 30 min for a softer cookie or 40-45 min for a crispier cookie.
