Feeding instructions
Every dog is unique, so their appetites can vary depending on their age, lifestyle, and activity level. This is only a guide, after all - no one knows your pooch better than you!
We recommend 2 daily feedings. If your dog prefers, you can add a little water to soften the kibble. Be sure to always have a clean bowl of water available.

Up to 10 lbs = Up to 1 cup
10 - 20 lbs = 1 - 1 1/2 cup
20 - 30 lbs = 1 1/2 - 2 cup
30 - 40 lbs = 2 - 2 1/2 cup
40 - 60 lbs = 2 1/2 - 3 1/3 cup
60 - 80 lbs = 3 1/3 - 4 1/4 cup
80 - 100 lbs = 4 1/4 - 5+

Transition Instructions

Yes! V-dog kind kibble was formulated by canine nutritionists and experienced veterinarians to meet all AAFCO standards. Our complete and balanced vegan kibble includes powerful superfood ingredients, added taurine, plant-based DHA, and essential omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.
How many cups of kibble are in a bag?
Our 24LB bag of kind kibble contains approximately 90 cups of food.
Can dogs thrive on a plant-based diet?
Absolutely! Thanks to ten thousand years of evolution alongside humankind, dogs are now physiologically omnivores. Our products are 100% plant-based and we have seen tens of thousands of pups thrive on them over the past 16 years.
How many calories are in a cup?
Our regular-sized kibble is 346 kcal/cup, and our mini bites kibble is 363 kcal/cup. (kcal = Calories.) The two sizes are the same formula, but the mini bites pack a little more densely into a cup.
How big are the kibble pieces?
Our regular size kibble is approximately ½” in diameter.
What are cases?
Cases contain multiples of the same product at a significant discount. For example, your kibble case for large dogs would contain 2 x 24 LB bags, and your case of mini breath bones would contain 12 single bags of mini breath bones.
What's the benefit of ordering a case?
Ordering a little more saves us a little on shipping, so we simply pass along those saving to our customers. So if you're ordering for more than one dog or you're planning ahead, you can save 5% (or 15% with a subscription) on a kibble case of 24LB bags, more than 25% (or more than 35% with a subscription) on a mini bites case of 4.5LB bags, and 10% (or 20% with a subscription) on cases of various treats.
Can I add cases to my subscription?
Absolutely. In fact, when you add cases to your subscription, you get an additional discount. If your case of kibble is 5% off and you add it to your 10% off subscription, you're really getting 15% off along with free shipping to your door.

My son showed me the ad for V-Dog because our bulldogs had bad tear stains. I gave it a try and the stains are gone! It sounds too good to be true but it isn't! It worked beautifully for my babies! I have fed V-Dog for several years now and I have healthy, happy dogs! I recommend it to all doggie parents!!!

My dog loves the food and is very healthy after eating it for about one year! I believe that you get quality for what you pay for.
My goldendoodle is allergic to beef, chicken, and pork. I know because she scratches constantly and chews her feet if she eats one of these things. She won't eat dog food containing fish. I tried giving her Vdog and almost all of her scratching and chewing stopped. I know if she sneaks the cats' food because she licks and scratches again. I highly recommend Vdog to anyone who has a dog with food allergies. It has made our dog's life so much better!
Excellent food. Healthy and they find it tasty. The mini pieces are VERY mini. My 16 pounder has trouble picking them up and keeping them in his mouth. I would get the bigger pieces even for a small dog.
