Feeding instructions
Every dog is unique, so their appetites can vary depending on their age, lifestyle, and activity level. This is only a guide, after all - no 1 knows your pooch better than you!
We recommend 2 daily feedings. If your dog prefers, you can add a little water to soften the kibble. Be sure to always have a clean bowl of water available.
Dog's Weight Per Day*
Up to 10 lbs = Up to 1 cup
10 to 20 lbs = 1 to 1.5 cups
20 to 30 lbs = 1.5 to 2.25 cups
30 to 40 lbs = 2.25 to 2.75 cups
40 to 60 lbs = 2.75 to 3.5 cups
60 to 80 lbs = 3.5 to 4.5 cups
80 to 100 lbs = 4.5 to 5.25+ cups
*Uses a standard 8 oz measuring cup.
**Add 1/4 cup for every 5 lbs of body weight over 60 lbs.
Transition Instructions
To get your dog started, mix 1/3 v-dog to 2/3 of your current food and gradually transition to 100% v-dog over a 5 - 10 day period.

How many cups of kibble are in a bag?
Our 4.5Lb bag of mini bites kibble contains approximately 18 cups of food.
How many calories are in a cup?
Our regular-sized kibble is 346 kcal/cup, and our mini bites kibble is 363 kcal/cup. (kcal = Calories.)
How big are the kibble pieces?
Our mini bites kibble pieces are approximately ¼” in diameter, most pups around or under 10LBs do well with this size.
Can I feed this to my puppy?
V-dog kind kibble and v-dog mini bites are formulated to meet the AAFCO standards for Adult dogs 1 year and up.
What are cases?
Cases contain multiples of the same product at a significant discount. For example, your kibble case for large dogs would contain 2 x 24 LB bags, and your case of mini breath bones would contain 12 single bags of mini breath bones.
What's the benefit of ordering a case?
Ordering a little more saves us a little on shipping, so we simply pass along those saving to our customers. So if you're ordering for more than one dog or you're planning ahead, you can save 5% (or 15% with a subscription) on a kibble case of 24LB bags, more than 25% (or more than 35% with a subscription) on a mini bites case of 4.5LB bags, and 10% (or 20% with a subscription) on cases of various treats.
Can I add cases to my subscription?
Absolutely. In fact, when you add cases to your subscription, you get an additional discount. If your case of kibble is 5% off and you add it to your 10% off subscription, you're really getting 15% off along with free shipping to your door.
