One-Ingredient Ice Cream for Dogs [RECIPE]

Who said dogs can't eat ice cream? Packed with electrolytes and potassium, bananas make the perfect sweet, creamy base for this pooch-approved treat. Share some with your pup, or add it on top of their favorite vegan kibble.

One-ingredient ice cream for dogs

Bananas, chopped and frozen (1 banana per serving)

Water, as needed

Add frozen bananas to a blender or food processor and blend. If needed, add 1 Tbsp water at a time to reach desired consistency.

OPTIONAL: Add a handful of fresh or frozen strawberries or blueberries and blend until smooth.

  • I MADE SWEET POTATOES CUP CAKES FOR MY POOCH FOR HIS BIRTHDAY. It is the same way you make another cup cake but the ingredients are
Flour, mashed sweet potatoes, coconut milk yeast and bake. The cup cakes are just amazing.

  • My dog was always itching and flaking on his backside, making hot spots and chewing his feet. Vets prescribed the usual pregnazone, apoquel, then cytopoint. The last one worked on the chewing, but it is new and no one knows future damage. My dog, Gizmo, has now been on the V dog for 5 months.. No flaking and scratching and biting and he even lost a couple of pounds. He loves the mini bites.. I am pleased.

  • One banana ice cream… I go raw vegan again, this is the ice cream I’ll make for my dogs this summer……so we can sit in the yard and have our ice cream together! Yep! I’ve been making the ice cream with coconut based yogurt and PB… it’ll be whipped bananas again and whatever flavors we want to add!
