One-Ingredient Ice Cream for Dogs [RECIPE]

Who said dogs can't eat ice cream? Packed with electrolytes and potassium, bananas make the perfect sweet, creamy base for this pooch-approved treat. Share some with your pup, or add it on top of their favorite vegan kibble.

One-ingredient ice cream for dogs

INGREDIENTS

Bananas, chopped and frozen (1 banana per serving)

Water, as needed

 

METHOD

Add frozen bananas to a blender or food processor and blend. If needed, add 1 Tbsp water at a time to reach desired consistency. 

OPTIONAL: Add a handful of fresh or frozen strawberries or blueberries and blend until smooth.

  • One banana ice cream…..as I go raw vegan again, this is the ice cream I’ll make for my dogs this summer……so we can sit in the yard and have our ice cream together! Yep! I’ve been making the ice cream with coconut based yogurt and PB…..now it’ll be whipped bananas again and whatever flavors we want to add!
