Lower Your Dog's Carbon Pawprint

As pet parents, we have a lot to consider -- where to find a dog, what to feed them, which products to use. What are the most responsible choices from a sustainability perspective? The US dog population has a significant carbon footprint that often gets overlooked.

  • " Consumption is on the decline; 70 percent of South Koreans say they won’t eat dog meat in the future, according to a June 2018 survey conducted by Gallup Korea. HSI also notes that the industry is in “legal limbo.” Provisions of the South Korea’s Animal Protection Act bans killing animals in a “brutal way” and in front of other animals of the same species." Look forward to reading 100% of all Asian countries stopping!
I am so excited to read the article regarding South Korea closing dog meat farms. I haven’t slept good since reading about the Yulin Dog Festival. I had know idea of this taking place. The sadistic cruelty of people inflicting such torture on all these poor animals is so overwhelming. The fur trade videoes where just as horrific! I am reading more carefully to see where anything I buy comes from and how it’s made. Thank You for all you and others like you do. So Proud of all of you!!!
