RAP Summit Helps Turn Cattle Ranches into Nonprofits

January 15, 2021

The Rancher Advocacy Program (RAP) is a an organization founded by Renee King-Sonnen that gives guidance and support to animal farmers who wish to transition to nonprofit sanctuaries. Renee is also the founder of Rowdy Girl Sanctuary, a nonprofit that was born out of her and her husband's cattle ranch after they realized the importance of protecting all animals.

Renee and Jane Velez-Mitchell are hosting the second annual RAP Summit on February 6th. Together with ranchers, scientists, agriculture experts, business leaders, and activists, they will share their knowledge on what farmers can do to thrive on their land without using animals.

V-dog is proud to sponsor the RAP Summit for the second year in a row. As an ethical vegan company, protecting animals and supporting positive change in the farming industry is so important to us.
