rePurpose Global: a 2020 Success Story

With all the hurdles COVID-19 presented in 2020, we wanted to take a moment to highlight the incredible work of a company that rose up to fight plastic waste. rePurpose Global's Plastic Credit program allows brands to offset their plastic footprint by funding waste removal projects around the world. Against all odds, they were able to scale up their efforts in 2020 and went from having just 1 partner in their network to over 90 over the course of the year. V-dog is proud to be one of those partners.

rePurpose is now removing 1.9 million pounds of plastic waste from the environment every year across 8 countries. The company got started back in 2017 at one of the world's largest landfills in Mumbai, India. They saw an opportunity to help combat plastic pollution while helping companies take responsibility for their plastic footprint.
